Composite fillings provide good durability and are resistant to fractures, they can be used on both the front and back teeth, and blend well with your natural teeth.
Prior to placing the filling, the dentist will numb the area and first remove any decay or damaged tooth material. The next step is to clean the affected area and then fill that space with the filling material, one layer at a time. After each layer is placed and shaped, a UV light is used to harden “cure” the material.
