Dr. Lyna is a member of the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Central Arizona Dental Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society, Tucker Gold Study Club, Spear Study Club, and sits on the committee of  the Arizona Dental Foundation.

Dr. Ernie is a California native, he grew up in Santa Cruz, a small beach town in Northern California.  After graduating highschool, Ernie went on to UC Davis for his undergraduate degree and then onto UC San Francisco for Dental School.  He found a passion for working with children during an externship and then decided to continue his training at the University of Southern California for his residency in Pediatric Dentistry.  Ever since moving to Arizona, Ernie has been an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and is currently the President of the Arizona Chapter.

Dr. Ernie’s main goals as a pediatric dentist are to create a positive environment for his patients and to educate parents about the importance of hygiene habits and a healthy diet.  On the weekends, Ernie enjoys cooking and doing anything active: playing basketball, hiking, and working out!

Sheilagh Murray was born and raised in The San Francisco Bay Area, but for the past twenty-five years she and her family have made Phoenix home.  Sheilagh has been involved in dentistry from a young age.  Her first high school job was as a dental assistant.  Her dental assisting career followed her through college at Brigham Young University.   As her children left home she realized how much she missed dentistry, science and learning.  In 2010, she went back to college and earned a degree in Applied Science and completed her licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist.  Sheilagh finds great fulfillment in the relationships she builds with her wonderful patients.  Sheilagh and Scott enjoy traveling internationally, hiking, photography, studying art and European history.  Their favorite activity is spending as much time as they can with their grown children, and nine beautiful grandchildren.  Life is very busy and incredibly fulfilling!

Katie joined our team in 2012 and assists both Dr. Vu and the hygienists as their lead dental assistant. Katie is a quick study as she is a trained medical assistant and became a cream of the crop dental assistant overnight!  She enjoys working at an office that feels just like family. By consistently striving to treat patients how she would like to be treated, Katie helps to make every visit here relaxing and comfortable. When she is not at the office, you can find Katie spending time with her husband Aaron, relaxing at home, camping, traveling, trying new foods, or spending time with her two nieces and 3 nephews and family.

Bobbie Haaven was born in Pennsylvania, coming from a military family, she had the opportunity to travel around the world.  In her senior year of high-school, she moved to Arizona and was part of the first graduation class of Chaparral.  She attended Bryman Dental Assistant School and went onto work as an assistant and front office team member for twenty five years.  During that time, she wanted to further her education and attended Phoenix College to earn her degree in Applied Sciences and completed her licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist.  Bobbie also has experience working in the medical field!  On the weekends, she works as a home health care provider.  When Bobbie is not in the office, you can find her on a hike on one of Phoenix’s great trails or cooking at home.  She loves her four pets, including two dogs and two cats.

Kelly joined the practice in 2005 working as a dental assistant and eventually working herself up to Office Manager.  In 2018, she took a brief hiatus to have her third child and has now rejoined the team part-time.  She is thrilled to see all the familiar faces and to meet the new ones that have joined the practice since she left! She loves working with patients to make sure they feel comfortable at the office. She is here to help answer any questions or concerns any patient may have. To her, this office is family and she treats every patient as if they were a loved one. When she is not in the office, she is busy taking care of her three young children and spends most of her days with extended family and friends.
